A graduate of the Forensic Analytics programme possesses a strong foundation in chemistry, including qualitative and quantitative analysis of substances, including evidentiary materials collected at crime scenes. The graduate is able to apply statistical and computational methods to data interpretation, not only performing the analysis itself but also justifying it, comparing results, and assessing their evidential value. They know the procedures for securing, storing, and documenting evidence material, and they work in accordance with ethical standards as well as the requirements of criminal law and evidentiary procedures. Thanks to this comprehensive skill set, the graduate is prepared for employment in forensic laboratories of the police and investigative units, companies involved in chemical, environmental, and materials analysis, as well as for continuing their education at the masters level.
In each semester, the student should receive 30 ECTS credits from obligatory and optional subjects
