Task subsidized from the funds of the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Gdansk
Task name: "Promoting environmental education in accordance with the principle of the best use of raw materials" (under agreement no. WFOŚ/ D/210/172/2018).

Eligible cost of the task: 30,000 PLN
Amount and form of funding from the WFOŚiGW in Gdańsk: grant in the amount of 20 000 PLN.
Task description: The main objective of the project is to shape pro-environmental attitudes and increase the awareness of students and society by carrying out model technological processes that allow to understand how the selection of an appropriate installation affects the amount of raw materials used, the amount of waste generated in the process and the efficiency of the reactions carried out, and thus how to reduce the impact of the installation (on the example of an installation working in the field of chemical synthesis) on the environment. The addressees of the project are students of the Faculty of Chemistry of UG (majors: chemical business, environmental protection, chemistry) and groups of students from primary and secondary schools whose interests are related to environmental protection. In addition, other residents of both our region and tourists visiting the Department of Chemistry are also addressees.
