INVITATION TO THE CONGRESS

The project "Science Clubs at the University of Gdansk - known and unknown faces of science" is conducted by the Faculty of Chemistry UG and the Faculty of Economics UG and co-financed by the program "Social Responsibility of Science" of the Minister of Education and Science

Dear Students,

Dear Students,

You are cordially invited to participate in the Congress of Economic and Ecological Scientific Circles "KEEKS 2022", which will be held on Saturday 02.04.2022.

The congress will have a stationary form and will be held at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdansk. The Congress is held as part of the project "Science Clubs at the University of Gdansk - known and unknown faces of science" co-financed by the Ministry of Education and Science.

The program of the Congress includes: a session on the activities of scientific clubs, the presentation of awards in the competition "And you can become a lecturer", 2 thematic scientific sessions with speeches by students.

The purpose of the Congress is the scientific development of students active in UG scientific circles and the exchange of views on research related to the concept of sustainable development and the social responsibility of science and the economy.

The jury of the KEEKS 2022 congress will select the 2 best student presentations in the area related to chemical issues and the 2 best student presentations in the area related to economic issues.

The winners will receive prizes and diplomas.

Please apply for scientific club persons and their representatives and send:

by 13.03.2022.

• the title and abstract of the anticipated scientific presentation, together with the names of the authors (the abstract should include: the purpose of the presentation, the problem, the conclusion, about 1000 characters with spaces);
• information about the designated representatives of the scientific association who can act as moderators of one of the sessions;
• the logo of the scientific circle;
• indication of the person(s) presenting the activities of the scientific circle (name and surname, name of the association).

• short presentations on the activities of the scientific associations represented at the congress (PowerPoint format or other multimedia form); the time of the speech of the representative of the association presenting its activities is about 5-6 minutes; the presentations will be made in the first session;
• a presentation covering a scientific issue in thematic sessions; total speaking time: 10 minutes, time for questions: 5 minutes.

If you are interested in publishing your paper as a chapter in a peer-reviewed post-conference monograph related to the congress theme and the issue presented, please submit an abstract indicating your intention to submit a paper. Deadline for submission of the paper: until 31.03.2022.
