Equipment and scope of research
Laboratory of TG/MS and UV-Vis
-
UV-VIS LAMBDA 18 device by Perkin-Elmer (1999) for measurements in the rang of 185-900 nm and a powder attachment for measuring the absorption of solids.
- TG/MS set.
The NETZSCH Jupiter STA 449 F3 thermobalance enables measurements at a temperature of 35-1500°C with a preset temperature gradient - in an inert gas atmosphere (Argon) or in synthetic air (N2 80%, O2 20%). This thermobalance is connected to the QMS 403 C quadrupole mass spectrometer, also manufactured by NETZSCH, which enables the analysis of not only changes in the mass of the tested sample in one measurement, but also registration of the masses (ions) of gases escaping from the tested sample during the measurement. Range of masses from 1 to about 300 Da.
