Activities:
The Council of the Student Government of the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Gdansk represents all students of the Faculty to its authorities. Accordingly, two members of the Self-Government are part of the Dean's Council. Three of our representatives represent students of the Faculty in the Parliament of Students of the University of Gdansk. The Student Government is responsible for electing student representatives to the various Standing Faculty Committees for the academic year. At the same time, we build the faculty community, for example, by organizing the annual Groundbreaking or Midwinter. For several years now, the Faculty Chemistry Picnic "Chemiliada", which is organized by the Student Government Council with the cooperation of entrepreneurs, the media and other university organs, has been a tradition of the department. The event is primarily aimed at faculty members and students. We encourage creativity and the development of interests among faculty students. In addition, since 2017/2018, RSSWCh UG has been organizing a permanent campaign "Pass it on!" in which students can use books donated from students of previous years free of charge.
